FBI officials are investigating a self-proclaimed conservative blogger after he used his Twitter account to call for the assassination of President Obama on Sunday night.
Solomon "Solly" Forell tweeted: "ASSASSINATION! America, we survived the assassinations of Lincoln and Kennedy. We'll surely get over a bullet 2 Barack Obama's head."
Another post said, "The next American with a clear shot should drop Obama like a habit."
And,
Rochester/Niagara Falls, N.Y. -- The same day a brick crashed through her Niagara Falls office, Rep. Louise Slaughter (D) says her staff discovered an assassination threat aimed at her family members. The Democratic headquarters in Rochester was also targeted.
No one was inside when the brick was hurled through the Democratic Patry Headquarters on University Avenue. Attached was a note quoting conservative Barry Goldwater: “Exremism [sic] in defense of liberty is no vice”.
The note was the only clue -- until now.
“I’m advocating broken windows. I’m advocating vandalism," says Mike Vanderboegh. We spoke to him by phone from his home in Pinson, Alabama.
Vanderboegh is referring to his blog called Sipsey Street Irregulars. He says his invitation to “break windows…break them now” is behind the incident in Rochester and at least two others in Tucson and Kansas. The message to Democrats should be clear.
And these are the self-described "true patriots" and "real Americans" who are of the belief that they, and only they, have a god-given right to governmental rule in America?? It'll be a sad and frightening day for the United States if these bastards ever do gain the levers of power is all I can say.

New York Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner, like Florida's Alan Grayson, is a rare commodity --- a Democrat with a spine who's not afraid to tell the right-wing conservatives to take their lies and bullshit and shove it up their asses.
In this clip, Weiner torpedoes a hoax document that the GOP tried to get into the public record and debate on Health Care Reform. Then in the middle of his counter-attack, North Carolina resident granny/dingbat/conservanut Congresswoman Virginia Foxx gets up and tries to interrupt Weiner's exposure of her party's fraudulent activities and Weiner deftly backhands her neanderthal ass and sends her whimpering back to her seat. Fucking priceless.
I'm telling ya, Grayson, Weiner, Franken -- if the Dems were to replace the current leadership positions with these guys -- you would see some shit getting done and progress for the country made a whole lot quicker - and no playing nice with the GOP terrorists along the way.
Glenn Beck and Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) expressed harmonized outrage on Beck's radio program Thursday about news that the House might vote on the health care reform package this Sunday. Voting on a Sunday, they said, was offensive and heretical.
"They intend to vote on the Sabbath, during Lent, to take away the liberty that we have right from God," King said.
"Faith has been perverted," Beck responded, then repeated. "They are going to vote for this damn thing on a Sunday, which is the Sabbath, during Lent."
Beck continued:
"Here is a group of people that have so perverted our faith and our hope and our charity, that is a -- this is an affront to God."
Interesting charge from the Beckster, since just a week ago his hypocrite Mormon ass was exhorting Christians to abandon their parishes and churches if their clergy talked about or were in any way involved with the act of seeking social or economic justice (aka - helping human beings in need) for some of their/our fellow Americans. Beck railed that it was akin to "Nazism" and "Communism".
And now Beck has gone and done a 180 degree pirouette and is frantically worrying his pretty little blonde head over the purported blasphemy which he claims is what will occur if the Democrats hold the Health Care Reform vote this Sunday.
First off -- I have absolutely no respect or trust in anyone who claims to know what's on "God's" mind and is presumptuously bold enough to feel that they know what "God" wants and what is best for "God." Of course that would apply to, a conservative guess, about 80% of the Republican party these days if you want to put it into proper perspective.
Secondly - Beck and King are both just plain fucking un-American assholes for using religion as a weapon to divide people. I'm so sick of these sons of bitches and quite honestly -- the day that they and their medieval movement is relegated to the trash heap of history cannot come too soon in my view.
Yesterday, the libertarian Cato Institute hosted a panel discussion on conservatism and the war in Afghanistan with Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA), Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) and Rep. John J. Duncan, Jr. (R-TN). When the conversation shifted to the war in Iraq, Rohrabacher said that “once President Bush decided to go into Iraq, I thought it was a mistake because we hadn’t finished the job in Afghanistan,” but that once Bush “decided to go in,” he “felt compelled” to “back him up.” He then added that “the decision to go in, in retrospect, almost all of us think that was a horrible mistake.”

The procedure every(GOP)one is so up in arms about is called a "self-executing rule." How many times did the Republicans use it the last time they controlled Congress, 2005-06? More than 35 times! And the Democrats? They complained about it then too, though to the best of my knowledge there were no claims of treason.
