Having 15% of your population relying on government subsidized food stamps to keep from starving isn't exactly something the richest and most economically advanced nation on the planet can be proud of in my view:
(Reuters) - Nearly 40 million Americans received food stamps -- the latest in an ever-higher string of record enrollment that dates from December 2008 and the U.S. recession, according to a government update.
Maybe the boy genius over at Goldman Sachs known as "Fabulous Fab" can come up with a solution?
