Good news and bad news . . .

Even though the general thrust of this article implies that Kerry is beginning to pull ahead of Bush, it's statements like this one that scare the shit out of me:

Kerry, 60, also leads Bush in perceptions among the general public on who can best deal with issues including the economy, health care, education, the environment, Iraq, foreign policy and gun control. The Republicans led on morality, homosexuality and terrorism, according to the center.

Lemme' see --- Americans believe Republicans are more moral as in ---

(lying about the reasons for going to war against Iraq; lying about profiteering off of that war; lying about and covering up the Abu Ghraib prison abuse scandal; lying about the cost of the prescription drug bill; lying about who benefits most from the tax cuts; lying about and covering up Bush being AWOL in the military; lying about and covering up the theft of the 2000 Florida election).  Oh yeah!!! Virtual beacons of morality those Republicans!

Americans also, it appears, believe Republicans can deal best with the issue of homosexuality ---

(hmmm . . . Kill 'em all!!!!  And if we can't kill 'em, let's discriminate against 'em!!!!)   WTF??

And lastly Americans believe Republicans are better at dealing with the issue of terrorism - - -

(9-11!  9-11!  Osama Bin Forgotten!  Anthrax killer!  9-11!  9-11!  "who would've thought terrorists would use airplanes as missiles and fly them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon?"  -- Clueless Condi Rice.  Osama Bin Forgotten!  Anthrax killer!  9-11!  9-11!!  9-11!!!  9-fucking-11 people!!!!

Makes one want to cry just knowing that half your countrymen are fucking brain-dead goobers.
