And lo and behold it just so happens that is the same place that the breakaway states of the southern confederacy inaugurated Jefferson Davis to be their President and champion/savior of slavery in 1862.

Hayworth, who has announced his candidacy for John McCain's senate seat, responding to MSNBC's Chris Matthews as to what motivates him to embrace the insane Obama/birther handjobs:
MATTHEWS: Are you as far right as the birthers? Are you one of those who believes that the President should have to prove that he’s a citizen of the United States and not an illegal immigrant? Are you that far right?
HAYWORTH: Well, gosh, we all had to bring our birth certificates to show we were who we said we were and we were the age we said we were to play football and youth sports. Shouldn’t we know exactly that anyone who wants to run for public office is a natural born citizen of the United States and is who they say they are? [...]
I played youth sports as a kid. I don't know what kind of fascist, totalitarian government they have there in Arizona, but can any one of my conservative friends look me in the eye and tell me with a straight face that they believe that crock of shit of ol' J.D. having to show up at pee-wee football with his birth certificate in hand to prove that he was a true blue American worthy of being allowed to play games with the other toddlers?

I can't for the life of me fathom how anyone who's been paying attention to what's been going on in this country for the past 20 years would be shocked that a conservative, Christian Republican would refer to poor school children getting free lunches as stray animals.
The concept of "compassionate conservatism" was never anything more than a gimmicky political soundbite if you ask me. By all realistically viewed accounts the conservatism flourished, but there never was anything compassionate about it.

The conniving asshat behind the ACORN is corrupt pimp-sting video has been arrested by the FBI in New Orleans, LA for trying to tamper with Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu's office phone lines. And being that the office is on Federal property (in the Federal building) it's a Federal felony.
My guess is that asshat boy and his merry band of wiretappers are going to wake up tomorrow with some conservative bus tire tracks plastered across their idiot asses.
