There was a time in this country when a story like this would be front-page headlines and people would be outraged.
However, since Republicans have consolidated their grip on political and media power it's simply a ho-hum little back-page story that simply adds another name to the long list of GOP political and business pondscum who've enriched themselves at the expense of Joe Public taxpayer dollars.
It's also behavior which is, quite frankly, par for the course for the Bush administration ---getting rewarded for incompetence, malfeasance and traitorous actions while in public office.
