Some things just never change, that's just the way it is.
Steal a loaf of bread - go straight to jail - do not pass GO!, do not collect $200.
Steal millions and ruin the lives of many, eh - not so bad. Take your slap on the wrist and just bide your time until your black robed saviors come to the rescue and set you free amongst the "little people" to plunder once again.
What a fucked up world we live in.
