New Age Mafioso = Your Friendly Neighborhood Banker

William K. Black is an unimpeachable source on the subject of the adulterous behavior between politicians and the financial industry in this country. This guy has first hand experience at seeing the criminal enterprise that Corporate America and our elected representatives have built up over the decades through the work of his regulatory career and as deputy director of the National Commission on Financial Institution Reform, Recovery and Enforcement overseeing the investigation of the Savings & Loan scandal/rip-off that occurred during the Reagan years.

In this clip on Bill Moyers Journal, Black more or less let's the cat out of the bag on how hopelessly and frighteningly corrupt America's political and economic infrastructure has become. It's a wholly bipartisan cancer which is coursing through the veins of this country's lifeblood. To say this video is deeply depressing and infuriating is a colossal understatement. Truthfully speaking, we all collectively had better start asking the question -- is there any hope for America's future? I for one am truly beginning to have my doubts.
