American Cable "News" - - A Vast Wasteland
On the heels of my previous post highlighting the MSM's disturbing penchant for creating non-news out of whole cloth, in this clip MSNBC's Chris Matthews hosts right wing kook, Watergate felon, and all-around vile human being G. Gordon Liddy to spew his own "Birther" lies and nonsense on the public airwaves. Granted - Matthews challenges Liddy on his bullshit and in the end makes the tired old criminal look like the lying ass-clown that he is, but why even give such unscrupulous people a platform to spout their slander to begin with? And that is the point I and others are trying to get across -- namely that the MSM perilously undermines it's own credibility (what shreds of it remain) by continually and irresponsibly parading these despicable individuals over and over and over again on our television screens.
