Thug congressman Joe Wilson from South Carolina demonstrates for all the world to see what a bunch of hateful, disreputable pricks that are running your modern day Republican party.
Can you imagine if a liberal Democrat had yelled out in the middle of Bush's infamous Niger uranium yellow-cake speech back in the run-up to the Iraq War resolution, "You lie!"?
Wow.
The right-wing howler monkeys would have been out in full force demanding an apology, censure, resignation, self-flagellation, etc. from said liberal and if none were forthcoming they would have enlisted Fox News and Hannity, O'Reilly, Cavuto, Fox & Friends, Limbaugh, Savage, Coulter, Boortz, Reagan, Ingram, Gallagher, etc., etc., ad-nauseum, in a vicious and relentless media smear campaign to destroy said liberal's reputation and career.
You know it's true.
Nonetheless, I'm certainly not holding my breath to hear an apology from Congressman Wilson. Nor do expect any form of bold campaign from Fox News or AM hate radio to hold Wilson accountable in any way shape or form. Such is the way of hypocrites.
