A North Carolina Tea Party group is promoting the idea of secession as a solution to the "tyranny of national government."
Geez -- I know that the teabaggers suffer from a collective case of acute attention deficit disorder, but c'mon -- exactly what part of the word "United" in the term United States of America do these people not comprehend?
Apparently getting their knuckle-dragging asses kicked in this country's first civil war didn't make much of an impression on them. And does it strike anyone as slightly odd that this purported era of "tyranny" only seems to have begun when the skinny black Democrat from Chicago came to town?
